During your initial consultation, we will be able to provide you with advice and suggestions specific to your project. Below is a broad overview of the design and planning process.

Step 1: Initial Meeting.

During this free of charge consultation, we will discuss your project including design ideas, feasibility and planning requirements. Shortly after the meeting, you will receive a detailed quotation for all services.

Step 2: Quotation.

If you are happy with the quotation, we will arrange a survey so that we can gather all the required information to inform the plans.

Step 3: Design and Alterations.

We will issue you with initial design ideas based on your brief and the findings of the survey. These can then be discussed and revised as appropriate to create a scheme ready for submission for planning.

Step 4: Planning Submission.

We will prepare the planning drawings and associated documents ready for submission to the local authority.

During the (approximately) eight week planning approval process, we will carry out all potential negotiations and revisions with the planners on your behalf. We will use our experience and relationship the local planners to achieve the best outcome for your application.

Step 5: Approval Granted.

Once the scheme has been approved, we will work with a structural engineer and other professionals to produce building regulations drawings to ensure the highest standards of construction and to meet the building inspector’s approval.

Step 6: Ready To Build!

Congratulations, you’re ready to start building your project! Although the design process may be over, we are still available to recommend trusted local builders and assist with any technical enquires you may have during construction.
